Many drivers have a decent career doing nothing else but racing in the different Skip Barber Racing series. It is an opportunity to go up against some of the best drivers on some of America's most famous race circuits in equal equipment. If you get beat, don't blame the car. The only downside, if you can call it that, is travel expenses. Getting to and from the racetrack and lodging can get expensive, but compared to the cost of owning a car hauler, tools, spare parts, and all the other equipment involved in running a race car, it probably works out okay.
